i wanted to hate this. i really did.
actors turning into singers usually makes me mad. (i’m looking at you jennifer lopez)
but, lord help me, i LOVE this.
Dead Man’s Bones is Ryan Gosling’s band with a hunky dude named Zach Shields.
i read somewhere that what they’re doing is called ‘goth-folk’
i’m not really sure about all that, but it’s like Roy Orbison made a Halloween album with a children’s choir.
It’s haunting and catchy and creepy and perfect.
i am obsessed.

Well, there is one spectacular gal on tour who will be getting all of my attention today.
Her name is Joy Williams, and i love her dearly.

Every single song is amazing, but my personal favorites are “Speaking A Dead Language,” “Golden Thread,“
and “I Hate It When We Fight” (with David Mead).
